I Doubled my YouTube Views Using ChatGPT – Step by Step Tutorial

Introduction

I recently came across a ChatGPT plugin that I’ve been using to double my YouTube views on some of my videos. It might be the most useful plugin that I’ve seen as a content creator. In the world of AI, it’s one of those things that I now use every single day. So, let me share my workflow in this video so hopefully, you could utilize the exact same thing to get more views across any video that you post online.

Ranking on YouTube

Here’s a video I made about three weeks ago about ChatGPT plugins. If you search on YouTube for it, it shows up number one. It got roughly about a hundred thousand views in the last three weeks or so. But I’ve been making YouTube videos for a long time. I understand how to rank these on YouTube search specifically. So, if I go down a little bit, I think yeah, I got another one here with 81,000 views again three weeks old. So this is one way to get views just using search utilizing search on YouTube.

Ranking on Google

But here’s the thing, a lot of the search for the specific keyword ChatGPT plugins is from Google. And it’s a lot more difficult to rank videos that are for YouTube on Google. Except now it’s not that difficult because we have a ChatGPT plugin that helps us repurpose these videos and rank in Google search too. So this is exactly what I did. I’ve been doing it for all my videos. I just did it for the video I made today on Runway Gen 2, which is a new AI platform for video. I just made that video and I did exactly this.

My Workflow

So, I have a website that basically just embeds my YouTube videos. This is another way to get views on your YouTube videos because if you go on my website and you press play, it actually counts it on the YouTube side and I still get paid on YouTube from AdSense. It works just like as if it was on YouTube. It’s an embedded video. So this one, I host on WordPress and WordPress is kind of free, it’s really easy to use. You can watch YouTube tutorials on setting up a blog site like this. For my video production company, I use Wix again really easy to use. You pay a monthly subscription, you have a Blog website for that too.

Using ChatGPT

Then I have to figure out basically the text here and for years I used to manually type this out. You had to have a heading here that used to rank for search and all this different type of text. Now this whole thing just takes me one minute using my exact same video. So let me jump into ChatGPT to show you exactly how this works. This is with the power of a couple of different plugins that I use here.

Activating Plugins

So, you need GPT-4. So you need the plus version of ChatGPT because they have these things called plugins here and they have an entire plugin store. My video that was related to plugins, I’ll link below if you want to learn how to set all this up with GPT-4. Right now, all I need to do is activate two different plugins. One of them that I could activate is called VoxScript and I just put a check mark next to it. The other one here, let me scroll down, is called Video Insights. So there’s again a whole plugin store. They have hundreds of plugins already for different things. This one is specific for what I’m showing you here. So you could search for those here.

And right now, you could only use three plugins at the same time. So these two are all the ones you need right now. And then I’m going to show you the exact prompt that you could copy and paste into the box to get the output that I get. The exact same output that ranks my videos now on Google. I don’t use these for YouTube. The YouTube side is separate. But now the same video ranks on YouTube and Google. And it could and it has doubled my views in some of my videos already.

The Prompt

And here’s the exact same prompt you could download this from the description in the video. It says “write a SEO friendly blog post with headings and subheadings from this YouTube video” and it says “insert link”. So I’m going to erase this. I’m going to go back to the YouTube side here and I’m going to copy this link. This is the YouTube video link from my own channel. And I’m going to paste that here.

Using the Prompt

Typically, ChatGPT doesn’t know how to follow a video link. But in this way, with these plugins, it’s actually going to read the transcript. And look what it does. I’m going to press send message. It just by default kicks on these type of plugins. You see it says used VoxScript. And then you could kind of see what it’s doing. It’s actually reading the transcript. So it followed that link, it read that transcript. Sometimes it uses it again, sometimes it uses the other one that I showed you.

The Result

And then it writes exactly a SEO-friendly blog post where I could use in combination with embedding my video. Because just embedding a video on a blog website doesn’t really help you rank in Google search. Google search requires SEO-based text like this. So now, this is laying down exactly what I need in really nice formatting. So this is our H1 headings. They rank in search well. These are H2 headings. So they’re going to rank in search well as well.

Posting the Blog

Then when it does this, I’ll go to WordPress in this case. And all I have to do is basically go up here. This is WordPress. Wix and Squarespace work differently. Just press post. And then I could come back to ChatGPT. I could basically copy the title. Copy this entire text here as soon as it’s done. It’s still going. Put it right here in the heading, in the body section. And basically, just to show you one that I’ve already done, this is kind of the output that you get.

The Outcome

So now, for example, for this specific video, as soon as it starts ranking in search, this is already on YouTube too, by the way. But when people look up Runway Gen 2 or maybe text to video AI, this will also rank in search. Or it has a chance actually to rank in search. Because this gets a really powerful SEO because of these language models helping me write that. And I’m not taking this from someone else. This is from my own video. I’m basically just utilizing these plugins to read the transcript of my own videos and turn it into a blog post. I’m remixing my own content. I don’t recommend you do this with obviously other people’s content. This has to come from you.

Conclusion

And that’s it. This way, now when you go to Google and you go to YouTube, if you type in ChatGPT plugins, I could show up in search again.

Right now, I don’t rank in search for number one for this just yet. YouTube takes a lot less time than Google because again I’ve had this type of channel for a long time. But it doesn’t hurt to spend a couple of minutes, make a blog website, turn every single video into a full blog, embed that video. As you see here, my video is embedded here. So if you press play, I get credit. I get a view on the YouTube side, not on my website because it’s actually an embedded YouTube video.
