Snapchat's location-sharing function, Snap Map, is getting a new feature called My Places.
Snap chat users can now explore popular locations and save their favorites to revisit later with the new functionality. With the "Visited" tab, they can also see where they've been.
Snapchat is joining Google Maps and yelp as another app to show you places around you including hours, location, and visitor traffic.
In collaboration with Ticketmaster and The Infatuation, an online restaurant recommendation service, Snapchat hopes to add more features later this year.
"With My Places, Snapchatters can discover more than 30 million businesses, log their favorite local spots, and even find personalized recommendations informed by their friends and the global Snapchat community," according to an article.
