How to Stop Autoplay on Netflix - New Netflix Update
Hey everyone in today's Netflix video, I want to show you this new update that stops auto-playing on Netflix. So when you're browsing Netflix, for example, these trailers auto-play on any device and when you finish an episode, it automatically plays the next one. Now Netflix finally has an update to stop both of those from happening and you could control them independently.
So they first announced on Twitter, that a lot of people were giving feedback and wanting that as an option. So let me show you exactly how to take advantage of that right now and if it's your first time here, I make it easy to follow social media tech videos every single day. So please consider subscribing first things.
First, you have to do this on your browser. So on your phone or on your computer, you have to go to netflix.com and you have to sign in to your account right up here. Just go ahead and sign in to your account with your username and password. This does not work on your TV and other devices only on netflix.com.
Once you're there go to the account tab. Once you're signed in and on this page, scroll down to my profile and there's an option called playback settings. Go ahead and select that and here are the two options I mentioned. So you could auto-play the next episode, when you watch a show on all devices, including your TV and your mobile devices, you could turn this off here if you don't want that to happen.
So when a show stops, one episode, you'll have to manually press. You get the next one and this one, especially, I like to turn off where autoplay a preview while browsing on all devices. So the trailer that you see for any show where you scroll over it, autoplay that trailer with sound. You could go ahead and turn that off and once you make that selection, you could just go ahead and press save and it will automatically apply it to all of your devices, including your TV and mobile apps. That's how you stop autoplay on your Netflix plan. I hope you found that useful. Please give it a thumbs up and subscribe for easy to follow social media and tech videos, and I'll catch you next time. Thanks for watching.
