How to Schedule Posts on Facebook
Hey everyone. In today's Facebook video, I'm going to show you how to create posts and schedule them for a later time and this is possible. If you have a Facebook business page, any Facebook business page has this option. The personal page does not have this option. So you can't do this with your personal Facebook but jump into your business page for your business on Facebook.
If you haven't created one, I do have a complete video on how to create one. Just like the one you see here. If the Facebook business page and on this page used to be where you go to create a post and you clicked here and type your post used to give you an option down here to schedule it for a later time.
But now it's telling you to go to publishing tools. So instead of clicking here, let me just press X and I'll show you right on top of every business page, there is a publishing tool option available. So click it. I'm going to leave this page right now and inside of publishing tools, this is where you would create that post instead.
So on their published posts right here, I could see all my recent posts and I could go ahead and create a new post here, and I'm going to schedule it right here too. So I'll press create posts and this is basically the exact same page you just saw to create a post. So you could do text posts. You could do video posts, you could do photo posts, you could add stickers.
So just like any other posts, but down here it says it's going to go to the newsfeed. That's the newsfeed of this business page that I'm on right now, but instead of share now, so if I say share now, it's just going to post it like a regular post. I get a new dropdown right here. Any allows me to schedule the post or backdate the post.
So if I press schedule the post. It allows the publication to happen at another time. So instead of today's date, I could press this calendar option and let's say all pick Tuesday instead. So two days from now, and I could select a time based on my time zone here. I'm in central standard time and now I could go ahead and press schedule a post.
Sometimes you'll also get this option available for suggested posts based on how well your posts do on your specific page. So you could see the details on that to learn more. But I usually just do custom posts and choose a date and time and press schedule and now you could see the check Mark is on, it says later and the data picked, but now I have to press schedule the post-sale press it and right now that post is published for a later time. So to see when that's going to be published on the left side, I have scheduled posts. I could go ahead and select that and you could see this text post that I just typed up is going to be posted. Publicly in a couple of days from today. If I wanted to change that I could always click on it.
You will select it for me and I could see a preview for it and if I change my mind, I could go ahead and do this action drop-down and I have all these different options like rescheduling canceling it, or even deleting the post entirely and if you press create post again, and if you want it to do a different one, like a video post from YouTube, for example, I could just paste.
That here and just delete this and it will create this nice video post for me as well. So really any type of photo video posts have this option here where they could be scheduled for a later time. So right now you could see the schedule post option is available here because I created the post under the scheduled posts section of the publishing tool.
So I could press schedule post and I get that same menu over here. Now, I'll just do this for 5:00 PM. So like an hour from now and I'll press schedule. So you basically could do this from the published posts or scheduled posts, press create the post and you're all set and you also have this option on their creator studio.
You could jump in here and here is a different way to do the same thing, but if you press create post up here and let's say you just created a text post, you could do a video post. Let me do a text post and here you could type in your next post, for example, and now on the bottom of the page, you have this little arrow.
If you press it, you could go ahead and schedule the post over here. So this is inside of the creator studio for Facebook, a little bit of a different way to schedule the post. So you get the same menu where you have the publication date, today's date. So you could change that right here and the time where it will be published on that day, over here, and you could press schedule, it gets you the same result, but it's just a different way to work and that's inside of Facebook creator studio. Instagram also has the same option. On the Instagram creator studio. So those are both [email protected] or you could do the first way on their publishing tool that I showed you. I hope one of these two options was viable for you. Please give this video a thumbs up subscribe for easy-to-follow social media videos, and I'll see you next time. Thanks for watching.
