How to PREMIERE a Video on YouTube-
Hey everyone in today's YouTube video, I want to show you how to premiere your videos on YouTube. It's a great way to engage with your subscribers, where you could all watch the videos as premiers together and even comment on them. So let me show you exactly how to do that. Now, this came on in 2019. But he's still only available on youtube.com on the computer and not on the mobile app.
So come up here to the plus icon and just like you would upload any other video to YouTube, go ahead and press upload video and on this page, as usual, I'm going to go ahead and select the files. So this is going to be the video I'm going to upload today, and I'm going to do the usual things. I'm going to make sure my title is good.
I'm going to add a description. I'm going to go ahead and add my thumbnail and I'm going to use Tube Buddy here to go ahead and add my tags over here. So all these tags are from Tube Buddy, and I also have a link in the description below this video. If you want to easily add tags and rank your videos, this is the plugin for that and I have some more videos on today. So now I just finished all my description, my thumbnail here and I'm going to go ahead and press next on this page. I'm going to go ahead and turn on monetization on the next page. I'm going to press next and here I'm going to press none of the above. I'm going to press next.
I'm going to go ahead and add my end screens. I usually use Tube Buddy again to just apply the template, but I'll just go ahead and press adds in this case and add one of these end screens. Press Save and I'll press next again and finally, premiere the video instead of leaving it on unlisted and then making a public later, which is what I usually do and what is recommended. There is an option to schedule. Go ahead and click this and once you schedule, you get set as a premier option. So let's say I wanted to choose tomorrow to publish this video. I'll choose tomorrow's date. I'll pick the time. Let's say 10:00 AM. But I'll make sure I'll check on the set as premier.
So basically a public watch page will be created and it'll show a countdown to this date. So people could actually jump in when he premiers and comments on the video. Very interesting option from YouTube and I use it from time to time on some of my most important videos, and I said it is a premiere and once you do have this checked on, all you have to do is on the bottom, just press schedule. And based on that time and date that you picked, your video will premiere then, and as you could see, it's going to have this page right here that says premier right on top of it and it's a great way to build anticipation.
Thanks so much for watching this video. Please give it a thumbs up and subscribe for easy-to-follow tech and social media videos and I'll see you next time.
