Find My is a powerful app inside of iPhones and iPads that help you locate your device in case it is misplaced or stolen. You can use it to locate the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app was previously called to find my iPhone. But with iOS 13, Find my iPhone and Find my friends have been combined into the same app, called "Find My" and it has dedicated settings in the setting menu.

In this video, we will cover setting up the lost my iPhone, using the lost my iPhone app to locate an iPhone, and using the iCloud option on a computer in case you don't have access to the device and you are trying to find it.
You can set up find my iPhone in the settings menu of the iPhone or iPad. You can also set the last location set on, so if your device's battery runs out, it will still show the last location. You can also toggle on enable offline finding and it will find your phone even without wifi or cellular.
You can now use the lost my iPhone app on your iPhone or iPad to locate the lost or missing device. You simply have to log in using another device with your Apple ID and find the device from the list. On the Find My app, you can activate the lost mode, which requires an active internet connection. Or you can Erase this device if you think someone has it that should have access.
If you erase this device, you won't be able to track it and you'll have to rely on your back up if you find it or replace it. If you don't have an iPhone or iPad around, you can do this on icloud.com.
