How to find and hire Instagram Influencers

Hey everyone in this video, I wanted to show you how to find and hire Instagram influencers. So you use them to promote your Instagram page or your business. You could get yourself cells or new followers on Instagram. There are lots of different things you could do and I've made well over 50 Instagram videos on this channel.

But this, I think might be my favorite because it has a real impact on my business. I'm going to show you how to kind of copy what I just did in the last couple of days. So this trailer here, basically what I'm doing is I'm promoting this new Instagram page that promotes a business called festivals, where we show physical film festivals online.

So if you cannot attend the physical film festival, you could watch it online. So we created a trailer for a horror fest. We have and we want it to get more traffic for it. So I'm currently promoting it here using the promote button on Instagram and Facebook ads, but the power of Instagram influencers is even more powerful.

Let me show you one of them. I'm hiring right now. So this influencer, if I go to their story, let me just find a story that I'm paying for this one here. So they're using a story swipe up so I could actually swipe up and he will take me to the website where you could buy the physical film festival. So right here, when people swipe, they could purchase a pass.

For this one film festival, and I'm going to do this every time I have a film festival, I'm going to get them to create this kind of post. It gives me the swipe up the link because they have more than 10,000 followers and they could do that on my Instagram page. I actually can't do that. This is new. I only have 300 followers, so I won't have that benefit or the swipe up a link as they have here on theirs.

Let me show you another one that did a feat for me, and then I'll show you how to find them and then how to engage them. Now find out how much they cost and how to hire them. So this one, I actually took a screengrab. So I ran this one for 24 hours like an Instagram feed on a different Instagram influencer and this one got me over 15,000 views and nearly 600 clicks to the website. So they actually put the link also in their bio. So it's in the description here. festival.tv. But they put it in their bio too. So if you went to their bio, you could see it. So those are the two different types of Instagram influencer impact that you could pay for and I'll show you how to do that here. I'm going to jump into a desktop to show you a couple of ways to find these Instagram influencers and how to see if their numbers. Are legit and if it's worth paying for them. So I'm on the computer here and if you want to see what kind of trailers I made here, you could just check out this video on this Instagram page.

So you get an idea of what works best. Usually, if you are going to hire an Instagram, an influencer is best to create a video to help promote your business. If you're doing it for your business, if you're doing your page, you could again make a highlight of your best posts in kind of a photo montage. So I would take the best post I have, but in this case, I have a video production company.

So one thing I know how to do is create videos that are very engaging. So that's where this came from. So these are a couple of things we need to do. First. We need to discover the type of Instagram influencer we want and to do that. We go to this website. So I'm going to leave a link in the description to this website and all you got to do here is click TRIA for free. So I totally did this for free item pay for the upgrade, but again, click the link in the description and if you think you need to upgrade, you can. So once you log in, even with the free signup, you get to this page and on this page, you could search up to five different interests and my niche is filmmaking. So I'm going to type in filmmaking here. And he's going to show me the top influencers in filmmaking. So this person, it says a blogger, a filmmaker, filmmaker photographer, 4 million followers on YouTube on Instagram, 1.6 million and so on. These are going to be too big for my budget.

So in this case, I don't want to spend more than $50. So. If I get someone with 1.6 million followers, it's most likely not and be a $50 shot out or post for me hired Instagram followers between hundred thousand to 500,000 followers in my niche for about 50 to a hundred dollars. So again, it depends on what you're doing.

If you're doing fitness and cooking, things like that, those could be much bigger because the audience is bigger for filmmaking. I found on there a hundred dollars. I could find some of the biggest influencers. So again, as a filmmaker, what I could do is I could find some of these, even the smaller ones, this one only has 7.8.

So this guy would probably do a shout out for me cheaper if it fits with his brand. So, so I would look at these people, and then I will look them up on Instagram. So I would take some of these people. I will copy them and I will go to Instagram and I will look them up because when I look up people like that, it's going to show me related posts.

One I'm on the phone. Related pages while I'm on the phone, actually. So I could see what other pages are following, or I could see the things that they're following. So usually this is how I find out what other pages that people in my niche are following. So I could see that. This person is following this one about world travel.

So if I wanted to talk about world travel, this guy's talking about travel, and then this guy is also about travel. So I could click there, see how many followers, and then do research. So this is going to take a little bit of time, but this page does get you. You started really well by finding Instagram influencers in your niche and another freeway to do it. You could also look for your hashtags on Instagram, so you could look up the hashtag for filmmaking, for example, and under the hashtag, you could go through some of the posts that have a lot of views. So this one has 40,000 views. So go ahead and click that. And then you could see who posted it.

So I could click on this person's name and see that this person has 208,000 followers. So that's going to perfect, great. So now let's say you discovered the person you want to talk to. What's the next step in the process? Well, You don't want to just go ahead and message them. Do you want to see E is this legit, are these views legit?

So you could go through their feet and take a look. How many likes and views their videos and photos get. So it looks like a photo gets about 8,000. A video gets 30, 40,000 views. That's great. Now we can do the same thing with the story. It's not going to let us know how many they have. So you got to take the award on it, but a feed is a good way to figure out how many.

Views comments and likes each person gets. So this is actually a perfect page and this might be the next person I'm going to reach out to, to do a post for me because it looks like they have great. Likes and feedback. Let me actually show you the one I hired previously. So this is the one where I showed you the Instagram story on, so I could take their username here and I could go back to this website again, check the link in the description for this.

I'm going to copy and paste it here, and I'm going to press search and let's see what we get here. So it says an estimated earning per post. This is kind of helpful. You could see their engagement rate and you could see likes and followers. Also, a disengagement rate is a number we want to look for. It depends on the size of the Instagram influencer, but you don't want anything less than 1%, 1% engagement on a big page like that.

For example, if he has a million followers, 1% is good. This page is 60002% is not bad. Really. We want to see three, 4% on a page, less than a hundred thousand followers, but this is a good number. What sometimes I've done this and the Instagram engagement rate shows 0.01%. For example, on a big page with a million followers.

So you could tell the followers were either bots or they were bought or paid for. So this is a great place to come and find out how engaged their Instagram username is and you could come down here and there is a number for you to see the average engagement rate. So for example, it says. If a hundred thousand followers or less, you want to see around 2.4%.

Now, based on my experience of usually hired people around 3%, I did hire this guy. So 2.4 was good, right on the money for me over a hundred thousand, you want to see her on 1% or higher, but if they have a few followers, like 10,000, you want to see a big following. So let me see. I have a page that has 12,000.

So I'm going to go ahead and search that page here. So based on this, I should be around 4% and that will be good. So let's take a look and gauge my rank of 5.8%. So this page that I own. Guess 5.8 at about 13,000 followers, which fits this chart. So now that we know that we like this page because we checked them out, we could continue our search, find some other ones.

So then we could figure out how much we want to pay, get some different quotes. But usually, if you look under their bio, their description here is saying, To DM or email them if you want to be featured. So if you want to shout out a lot of them say this. So when they're at this kind of size, and this is their business, they tell you right here, but let's say they don't tell you, let me jump into the phone to show you how to simply do it.

So all you do here is go to their page. So I'm on their page here, and you want to just press messages here to take you to their messages or start direct messaging them. So what I did here is I had this conversation and all I had to say to them was, Hey, I love your page. I think your audience would appreciate what I post.

Can you give me a price on how much it will be to post one of my recent posts on your page and that's it? The conversation just started from there. He actually deleted that conversation. Let me go to my DM and see another conversation I had with someone else. So here we go. This one is the other one I showed you.

So this is what I meant by having the link in the bio. So they said horror first online. Festival tv is right there. So if you look more, I had the conversation. Let me go up to the very first one. Hey, we're looking for a promotional post to promote our online film festival. It's a horror film. First, highlight the best films from the 48-hour film project.

Can you give me a price and then they basically broke it down for me. So it's anywhere from $45 for 24-hour feed posts to a hundred hours and so on. And I paid them through PayPal, but that's as simple as that was and by the time we were all said and done. They basically showed me what that's gonna look like and it was a great result or 15,000 video views that I got from this one influencer for just $50. So that's how you hire Instagram influencers. That's how you find them and that's how you get the impact. Again, if you were promoting your own page, it's good to kind of make a video reel to show what your page is all about and then have them posted and then ask them for a link in the bio, just like this.

If you're promoting it outside of Instagram or just having tagged you, you inside there. So, people could come to your page on Instagram. So I got about 50 or so followers from that post, even though my intention was to send people to the website, we did get about 50 followers on this page just from doing that post.

So I know that this was a bit long, but I wanted to cover every little aspect of hiring Instagram influencers.
