How To Add Funds To Google Pay
In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how to link your bank account to Google Pay, allowing you to add funds to your account.
To get started, open the Google Pay app. If this is your first time using the app, or if you haven’t downloaded it yet, I put out a quick overview video on how to get started before, and I’ll put a link below.
Once at the homepage, tap the Google Pay icon at the top right.
Next, under add a bank account to transfer out your money without fees, select Add Bank.
On the next page, tap Accept and Sign In to allow Plaid to link your bank account to your Google Pay account.
Google uses Plaid to link your bank account, which is both secure and private. Select Continue at the bottom.
Next, search or select your bank from the list below.
On this page, enter your bank account credentials, and then tap submit.
On the next page, you’ll be asked to verify your account. Select the method you want to use and hit continue.
Next, select the account you’d like to link, and hit continue again.
Finally, tap Add Money, and enter the amount of money you’d like to transfer to your Google Pay account. Select Next.
At the bottom you’ll see the bank account you linked, along with transfer time up top 5 business days and no fees.
Tap add at the bottom and the money will be scheduled to transfer to your Google Pay account.
And that’s how you add a bank account and transfer money into your Google Pay account.
