So what is Zumba? Zumba was created back in the 1990s and is a Brazilian style fitness program that involves aerobic and dance to help you lose weight. In a typical Zumba session, a person can lose up to 600 calories. This fitness routine has grown to 200,000 classes thought around the world.
One of the greatest benefits of Zumba is that it targets many areas of your body. Due to it’s intense nature, it can target your core, back, arms and legs. It is also an interval based exercise. This means your heart rate will continue to remain elevated once the workout is complete, cause you to continue to lose calories throughout the day.
