How to cook mac and cheese

Making mac and cheese is super easy and super fast.  Let’s look at what we need.

Step 1: Boil 2 cups of Macaroni noodles.  Let it boil for about 9 minutes.

Step 2: Strain the water with a strainer.

Step 3: Put them back into the pot and put the lid on.

Step 4: Now mix 2 tablespoon of flour and half a cup of milk together.

Step 5: Heat one cup of milk in a different pot or pan.  Get it hot over medium heat.  Don’t let it boil.

Step 6: Add milk and flour mixer and mix together for 3 or 4 minutes.

Step 7: Turn the heat off and add 1.5 cups of cheese.

Step 8: Mix about a minutes.

Step 9: Next, add Macaroni noodles back in and mix with a wooden spoon.

Step 10: Use some salt and pepper.

hey guys Dave from cook and share here.  we haven’t uploaded a video for a week or so because we’ve been on vacation in
beautiful Boracay but now we’re back and we had a request from a viewer to make up some simple no bake mac and cheese.
so here it is and let’s get started.  I’m just gonna get started here by boiling up some water then I’m gonna add in two cups of elbow macaroni noodles and we’re gonna let these boil I’d say for about nine minutes, just to the point where they’re al dente.
Okay the noodles are nicely done so I’m just gonna slip them into a straighter and strain the water off then what you want to do is put the back into the pot put the lid on and then just set them aside okay what I’ve got here is two tablespoons of flour so I’m gonna have an oh I’d say somewhere in the neighborhood of 1/2 a cup of milk then we’ll just give this a quick stir here until it’s nicely combined and there are no obvious lumps in there then what you want to do is add the remaining 1 cup of milk to a pan you can use a pop for that matter whatever you got on hand so what I’m gonna do over medium heat I’m gonna bring the milk to the point where it’s hot you don’t want a boiling just hot then we’re gonna add in the milk and flour mixture and stir continuously until it thickens and it’s barely smooth and one free this should take his somewhere in the neighborhood oh I’d say about 3 to 4 minutes now what we’re gonna do is turn the heat off and add in a cup and a half of cheese I’m using old cheddar cheese but you can use your favorite cheese we’ll just whisk this until it’s well incorporated into the mixture I should mention I’m using about a cup and a half of cheese here so the ratio you’ve got is about a cup and a half of the flour mixture to a cup and a half of cheese so some one-to-one ratio I’m gonna mix here for about a minute to get a nice gooey gooey mixture something like this that’s what you want to do is add your macaroni noodles back in take a wooden spoon and mix until the noodles are nicely covered give it a seasoning with some salt some freshly ground black pepper and that’s the beauty of this dish guys you can add whatever seasoning you want or whatever ingredients and there you have it our simple no frills versatile but nevertheless delicious no baked mac and cheese head on over to cook and share comm for this recipe and many more great recipes don’t forget to click to subscribe and like our videos thanks for watching and see you next time.
